Best Brioche in France

A competition dedicated to brioche, a trending pastry at the moment, which comes in an infinite variety of sweet, savoury and even plant-based versions!

This creative, gourmet competition will welcome bakery, pastry and food service professionals.

To win the title of Best Brioche in France, the shortlisted entrants will have to compete in a series of 3 contests to demonstrate both their technical mastery and their creativity.

2026 Contests 

A Three-Part Competition

Brioche takes center stage once again with the Best Brioche in France Contest, a gourmet and creative competition dedicated to bakery, pastry, and foodservice professionals. Through three complementary rounds, contestants will showcase their technical mastery, taste expertise, and creativity.

Technical event 

Shaping a laminated brioche

This first round focuses on precision and shaping skills, allowing participants to demonstrate their technical accuracy and artisanal know-how.

Set event 

Street-Food‑style brioche

Contestants must prepare a brioche in a savoury fast‑food spirit, combining balanced flavors, creativity, and respect for seasonal ingredients, in a street‑food‑inspired and gourmet approach.

Creative event 

French‑style pastry brioche

The final round invites participants to elevate sweet brioche through a recipe that is indulgent, visually appealing, harmonious, and fully reveals their creativity.
